HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!!!!

Well what a fantastic occasion to be a part of!! We had visitors a plenty and sooooo much fun this past Wednesday. And what was the occasion you may ask....to celebrate 50 fantastic years of Early Childhood Education at Winton Kindergarten! It was great to have so much support from everyone involved and what a wonderful turn-out! A big thank-you to the committee, with special thanks going out to the sub-committee for making it happen, you guys are AWESOME!
Celebrations begun with the banner being hung, balloons being blown and the children arriving in the door dressed as...yes, you guessed it...Spidermen and Fairy princesses!
Then came the BIG finale, the cake cutting and the burying of the time capsule! Thanks to all the buriers! Great team work.
Bring on the next 50 years! It's bound to be just as brilliant!

'To be sure ... to be sure'

'Top of the Morning To Ya'
Our St Patrick's Day celebrations began with Leprechaun balloons on the gate and some very unassuming, but very small green footsteps at the door.  Yep I think we've had some Leprechaun magic occur through the night. We had wonderful green dress-ups, green water, green balloons, green teachers (Kylie's green tights were pretty amazing) and not forgetting that GREEEEEN bread ... oh and that Irish tap dancing music just about made you stop what you were doing and ... dance.  Morning children were also able to spontaneously partake in an actual Irish Jig by four fantastic ex Kindy kids. Thanks for coming along girls.  Thanks also to all our parents for fossicking around to find some GREEN attire.  The children looked amazing ... especially Jack with the COOL green hair.

Victoria Bush Fire Dress Up Day ...

What a fantastic day.  We had spidermans, fairies, dragons and many more ...  thanks to all our families for helping the children with all their dress ups.  At group time we watched a YouTube clip of the fires ... to get a REAL feel of the actual devastation ... and it IS devastating
Thank-you soooo much for your gold coin donations.  We raised $108.70.
