NARRATIVES
This term we are focused on narratives. The children love to retell stories from home, produce their own scripts, and dictate their thoughts on to paper. Many many books have been produced or are still in the production line in the Project Room waiting final approval from their authors and illustrators. At Story Time in the afternoons the wider group have enjoyed listening to and participating in retelling stories from our trip to the Oreti River. Sometimes these are factual accounts....sometimes we unleash the power of imagination and anticipate what the storyteller will say next!! Lots of meaningful play and learning; literacy and language, contribution, imagination, role play... the list goes on!!

We will be organising an excursion with our TF Group for Friday the 19th - a sign sheet and notice will be out next week. We also hope our MTW Group can head along with their families and check out the Show.
