Happy School Days to our 10 friends who celebrated Kindy birthdays this week...Fred Ricamor, Jaimee Chen, Manaia te Heu Heu, Geneva Witcomb, Henry Mitchell, Blair Nicolas, Mahalia Tapatu, Lachie Forde, Luke Mitchell, and Emily Newell (who was away unwell).

Santa comes to visit on Wednesday and Thursday @ Ivy Russell Reserve!!
Thanks to our children, families and Parent Group for joining us in seeing out 2015...two magical mornings in the bush at our special Forest Kindy Castle/Xmas Tree...We hope poor Santa finds his reindeer before Christmas Eve!!




Check out the children's Community Xmas Tree Competition entry at the Presbyterian church today and tomorrow...we were placed 2nd last year to Limehills School!

Term 4 Week 9

The Potter's Wheel and Xmas Crafts
A big thanks to Sally for sourcing our amazing Potter's Wheel! Both groups have enjoyed learning how to using this new resource...producing beautiful clay bowls that we hope to have fired this weekend at James Hargest, as well as some spin paint today!
Thanks to Rachel Reed and Kate Watkinson for coming in on Thursday to do Christmas Crafts with the group. 


Forest Kindy
Our final Forest Kindy for the year. We finished the year with cheerio sausages on the camp cooker, "Pops" swing, Phil's renovations to one of our huts, and as always LOTS of fun laughter! A big thank you to our families for their continued support and appreciation for this unique and rewarding programme...We are so lucky to have such a wonderful place to take our tamariki each week, with the Forest Kindy culture and anticipation of "when will it be my turn?!" continuing to go grow.

Family Xmas Night at Midlands
A fabulous night organised by our fabulous Parent Group! Thanks to the many families who joined in on the fun last night - we certainly have many budding rugby stars and athletes at Winton Kindy!! If you are interested in joining the Parent Group in 2016, they would LOVE to hear from you!!!..Please speak to one of the teachers or Parent Group President Megan Graham for more information :)
