Term 3 Week 6

Happy School Days to Sam White who heads off to Winton School next week.

Polyfest Performance
Some pics from our amazing Polyfest journey...A dress rehearsal at Winton School on Monday for the children to experience being on a stage - thanks to our helpers on the day...Our BIG trip in to Invercargill on Wednesday, firstly to the Southalnd Museum and Art Gallery to check our our Polyfest Art - The Nurturedness of Nests and to have a bite to eat, before heading on to Stadium Southland for our debut! The tamariki were AMAZING - all their hard work paid off, what an outstanding performance - ka pai to mahi/ great work! A big thanks to our many many helpers on Wednesday - we really couldn't do it without your support! We finished off our day with a late lunch at the Stumpery at Queen's Park, then back to Kindy to say farewell. Daffodil Day
Wow, what a bright and shiny sea of yellow we had at Kindy today for Daffodil Day...Thanks to our families for getting behind this great cause, dressing in yellow, bringing along a yellow plate for morning tea, and a yellow/gold coin for the Appeal...and the fun isn't quite over yet...we get to do it all over again on Monday with the MTW Group! Families are always more than welcome to join us, especially on these special days. We have Bridget from the Cancer Society joining us after morning tea at 10:30am on Monday also.

Red Nose Day - thanks to everyone for getting in the red spirit today to show our support for CureKids. We also had our Limehills School students with us working on our Winton Spring Flower Show entries...More details to follow closer to the event.

Coming Up:
Monday - Polyfest Dress Rehearsal @ Winton School - please be at Kindy before 9:15am so that we can make our way down to School. Girls - please bring your white singlets and wear your hair down or in a low ponytail (so our Tipare/headbands will fit).

Tuesday - NO forest kindy

Wednesday - Polyfest Performance at Stadium Southland - please be at kindy on time, we will be leaving at 9:30am SHARP - girls please remember to pack their white singlets. A healthy morning tea and lunch, water bottle, sensible walking shoes, warm clothing/jackets and hats.

Wednesday Night - Parent Group Meeting @Kindy 7:30pm - All warmly welcome.

Friday 28th August and Monday 31st August - Daffodil Day for the Cancer Society...Please dress for the occasion (yellow), a yellow plate for shared morning tea, and a gold coin if you would like to donate to the Cancer Society.
