Happy School Days to Callum Lyall off to Winton School.

Amazing Me Programme DVD 2:
This week we watched the second DVD in the series. Belonging was the focus, including: learning the rules to help keep themselves safe, encouraging children to ask for help from adults, and, learning their own phone number, address and 111 emergency number...Something for us to discuss as a family also.

Forest Kindy
This week welcomed Manaia to the group. Callum led the group to the stream for the morning, finishing the day at the Kindy Castle and the mud. Thanks to our helpers this week Megan and Louise.

Winton School Pet Day
What an eye-opening adventure we had on our trip to Winton School...Vegetable models, Flower displays, arts and crafts, tyre models, and LOTS of pets!!! A big thank you to our helpers this morning!

Limehills Pet Day on Monday: WE STILL NEED MORE PARENT HELPERS...PLEASE SEND US AN EMAIL IF YOU CAN HELP OUT :) Remember to dress up in "Kiwiana" theme as well as warm jackets, hats, gumboots, packed healthy morning tea and lunch.

Happenings this week...

Happy School Days to Robbie Batt off to Winton School.


Amazing Me DVD 1:
This week we started our Amazing Me Programme with the MTW Group with information for families via your Parent Pockets. There are 5 DVDs in the series, a new one being introduced each week. We watch each DVD twice, once on Mondays and again revisiting our learning on Wednesdays. DVD 1 is based on Well being:enhancing the self esteem of children; trying to do things for yourself can be fun; and, name body parts using correct terms. At the end of the programme we have our Amazing Me Party!!!

Discovery Time:
RWC 2015 - Webb Ellis Cup designs from week 1 are in the process of being made into prototypes...check out the children's efforts!

Forest Kindy:
A big thanks to our helpers this week Anita, Belinda and James. We welcomed Luke, Lachie and Reece to the group this week and fare welled our leader Robbie. We spent the morning fixing up the damage made at the Kindy Castle - we are sooo upset that this special place has been vandalised! The children brought the Kindy Castle sign back to Kindy for repairs to return next week. We also had a blast on the swing James made for us and shooting our bow and arrows, as well as fishing in the stream....all in a day's work at Forest Kindy.
