Term 2 Week 2

It's that time of the year again ...

Our Camo Day/Duck Hunters day carried on from Fri into & onto our Mon, Tue, Wed group.  Many accolades have been shared - What happens on Tour stays on Tour!!!  




We hope EVERYONE enjoyed all the camaraderie that goes with this annual outing!!!!

A BIG thanks to Sophie for popping in to help with an iconic Duck Shooting delight ... Bacon n Egg pie!!!  We've had Bacon n Egg Pie for lunch each day this week ...  I think we might just have a few converted pie lovers in amidst!

Taiao Tuhura - Forest Kindy 

A welcome back to our Taiao Tuhura programme ... Nature Discovery Day on Tue @ the Reserve.  How eco-friendly this space continues to be.  A welcome to Emma, Mila & Shahn to our programme this week along with sharing parents Kyle, Gemma & Nyssah! Tks for joining us! Next week Mark Oster from Environment Southland joins the group to share his passion & knowledge of the great outdoors!
Mud Mud ... glorious Mud!!!

We also welcomed to the Reserve Nature Play presenters from Christchurch Celia & Emma.  The Teaching Team (Judy, Christina, Antonia) carried on to the Salvation Army Hall Tue night to participate in their Southern REAP 'Nature Play' workshop! Celia & Emma also 'popped' into Kindy on Wed morning & were captivated by our naturalistic & calming environment.  We are pretty proud of it too! Tks Celia & Emma!

A BIG warm welcome back to Kindy - Ex-Kindy kids

Great to see you all both familiar & unfamiliar friends.  Along with rekindling friendships we hosted & shared a 'fruit break' morning tea with the Winton School New Entrant class.  Tks for a GREAT morning everyone!

Mother's Day

Eco-Kindest !!! To ALL our Mums, Grans, Nan & Nanna's out there have an AWESOME day on Sunday!

Next week Mon, Tue, Wed group we are off to the Memorial Hall for a Puppetry encounter ... Kokako's Song by Birdlife Productions Tue 12.30pm!  The performance is open to the public so all families are most welcome to attend at their own leisure.

Term 2 Week 1

Haere Mai ... Welcome Back everyone!
A warm welcome to everyone ... especially all our new families!


A busy first week ... we welcomed everyone back with a fitting tribute to all our ANZAC soldiers.

Lots of excitement to be back ... & lots of helpers to build our new rabbit cage for Rupert.


LOTS of thinking, problem-solving & contributing to resurrect our new Project Room shelving.

Check this out ... A HUGE thanks to Alister Jukes who popped in on Monday & donated this hand-made rocking horse to us as a gift!  
Eco-Camo Day today has been a HUGE day of excitement ... and a BIG part of our culture.

We welcomed Cass (Judy's duck/rabbit/quail shooting Chocoloate Lab) to Kindy today. Cass says ... thanks to everyone for looking after me.  I had a NEAT day!!! Keep safe our there everyone! We'll keep everything set up for another Camo Day on Monday!
 
We also welcomed back today our Limehills School SVA (Student Volunteer Army) to Kindy - Caitlin, Annalise & Cameron who came dressed up for our Camo Day!


Great to be back ... great to meet & greet both old & new friends.                                                      'It's NOT what we have in life but who we have IN our lives'.
