Term 4 Week 1

Welcome back to Term 4 2014!!! Wow, the countdown to the end of the year is on and with lots of events and excitement this term, the Summer holidays will be here before we know it!

In the last week of Term 3 we said farewell to Jasmin Johnstone, Kamryn Sinclair, Tiara-Jade Ramage, Paige Walker, Elora Magannig, Leo Cameron and Benjamin Hose. This week we have welcomed Makenna Sinclair and Thomas Maguire to our TF Group.
Welcome to Thomas and family

Welcome Makenna - it's finally your turn to be the Big Kindy Girl in the Sinclair household!

The children are back from their time away with many stories about what they have been up to with their family's. Continuing with our Programme Planning focused around Narratives, many of the group have shared on paper their stories and illustrated these to communicate in detail about their eventdul holidays...Stories about travel, play dates, and even dragons have been enjoyed so far!

Yesterday's trip to the Civic Theatre to watch the Capital E Production of McGee and the the Biting Flea really brought to life the magic of narrative, storytelling, imagination, role play, theatre and dramatic arts! A big thanks to all 16 parent helpers who came along for the fun! The children were captivated by the show, and today we have had a fabulous time re-telling the performance, sharing our thoughts, searching for YouTube clips, and revisiting the magic of, for many, their first bus ride and theatre trip!

We begin our Amazing Me Programme next week, with information placed in parent pockets this week.

Forest Kindy also kicks off next week. The children were sooo excited to receive the Little Critters packs along with their wet weather gear at end of day mat time on Tuesday to use throughout their time in this amazing Programme. A big thanks to the Parent Group for organising and sourcing these.
