Term 1 Week 2

A warm welcome this week to Lochlain Young to the TF Group. This week we have been learning about crayfish and the metamorphosis of caterpillars into butterflies. We have had Ninja Turtle masks in the making for LOTS of role play in both the MTW Group and TF Group!! Next week we start back into our Forest Kindy Programme with a number of new faces joining the group - we can't wait to get back down to the Reserve to explore and find out what's changed in our time away!

Term 1 Week 1

Welcome back - great to have you with us again! Check out what we have been up to this week....Egg carton creations, the mystery nest, art in nature, and reconnecting with our friends after the loooong break! We have loved hearing about our children and families Summer holidays and adventures, and look forward to another year together at Winton Kindergarten. This week we welcome Peyson McColl and Spencer White to the TF Group.

Events this term:
Yesterday we had our Planning Meeting to go over some of the many happenings this term. The Winton Autumn Flower Show, Heart Foundation Wear Red for Healthy Hearts Day, Plunket Hug A Bear Appeal, St Patricks Day, and Easter Celebrations to name but a few! If you do hear of any local events, we love to get out and about and take part...Keep us posted!

Parent Group AGM Next Wednesday the 28th of January @ 7:30pm @ Kindy - ALL WELCOME

Winton Community Christmas Tree Competition - Congratulations to all our talented children - we were placed 2nd in this event at the end of last term - ka pai to mahi/ great work!!
