17 June 2015 Cold Winter morning & what better way to warm up than to make our very own buns for morning tea/lunch. A BIG tks to Anna Howard our resident 'Baker' who made the bread dough @ home before before bringing it along for children to knead, roll & create their very OWN bread roll. The Kindy smelled delicious & so did the buns - & even more so with a LARGE dollop of butter! Listening has been our focus over the last two terms ... & today was NO exception. Lots of listening to instructions, following directions ... & listening & interpretting - tumkeke rua paki!
Check out these amazing creations ...
Knead meeeeeeee ... |
And then we got to eat them ...
Homemade ... handmade ... delicious!!! |
Our variety of food choices continues to grow & grow ... and none so popular than when you make it yourself. Thanks soooo much Anna!!!
And also a BIG tks to Prue Collie for coming in & making some Apple Crumble using up the bag of donated apples ... LOTS of helpers & again the Kindy smelt delicious!
We've just had our first few nests come in for our Polyfest Art entry ... they are amazing. Tks to Angus Collie & Lucas White - keep them coming in!!!
Happy Matariki ... we'll see you all tonight!!!
