Forest Kindy
Thanks to our helpers Prue and Amber who joined Angus and Ryan on their last Forest Kindy Day. We welcomed Henry and Geneva to the group. The morning was spent foraging in the pine Tree Forest...finding pine cones, huhu grubs and huhu beetles, using the saw to cut the rotten branches, making a camp fire, and having fun!

Armistice Day
At 11am, on the 11th day of the 11th month we walked down to Anzac Oval for the Armistice Day Service. A big thanks to our helpers. Luke, Lachie, Anahera and Emily N presented the wreath that the children had made...creating their own unique poppies to adorn it. Check out The Eye newspaper next week...

Amazing Me Programme - DVD 3 last week and DVD 4 this week:
Last week the focus was CONTRIBUTION: learn through discussion about different families and living environments, help children talk about how they feel, and, develop children's self-confidence and awareness of themselves as individuals.

This week we looked at COMMUNICATION: reinforce the stop, think act strategy, recognise that all people have feelings, and there are appropriate ways to show them, learn to say "No" in an appropriate way.
Constable Marty joined us on Wednesday morning as part of our programme and keeping our self save focus.
