A short week at Kindy this week and the return of our Forest Kindy Days. For families new to Winton Kindergarten, Forest Kindy is an initiative founded by Kindergaretens South to connect and reconnect the child in nature. Each Tuesday we head to Ivy Russell Reserve Winton with our 10 oldest children, who are involved in a morning of 'Connecting with Nature'. Check out some of our older posts for a better look at what we get up to in the forest!

WEAR RED FOR HEALTHY HEARTS...NEW ZEALAND HEART FOUNDATION
WOW, what a fun-filled day we had at Kindy today!
A big thanks to families for getting in the spirit and dressing in red for our Kindy Party. We had a delicious Red Healthy Heart morning tea and lunch...cherry tomatoes, strawberries and yogurt, watermelon; as well as heart-shaped pancakes and strawberry jam courtesy of Spencer White and family. We exercised our hearts with lots of dancing and playing, then feeling the change in beat inside our chests....ka pai!
