Thank you to St Thomas School for coming along on Monday morning to check out what we have been up to over the past term. It was great to see lots of ex-Kindy friends and connect with the teaching team.

Polyfest Waka Project
Everyone should feel extremely proud of our wonderfully creative tamariki - our waka looks amazing! Special thanks to Rose Maguire and family for designing, crafting and gifting us our taurapa/stern. The judges apologise for being unable to come out to Kindy this week, but will come in during the break to accept our entry...we wait in anticipation!!

Looking forward to Term 3...
In the new term we look forward to our next Polyfest event - our Performance on stage at Stadium Southland. Mark Tuesday the 30th of August on your calendar - we are booked in to be on stage at 11:45am. More information to come closer to the event. And again, we can't thank Megs Mitchell enough for her outstanding commitment towards sourcing all our fabulous sponsorships from local businesses - today we have reached our initial target of $1700 - wahoo!!! Many thanks to our generous businesses who have contributed towards the purchase of our brand new Kapahaka Kakahu! We can't wait to represent our community on stage at such a huge event!
