Claire said, "You need to look for cars" especially when crossing the road.
If there was an emergency, Ebony said, "I know my neighbours name, Colin, he could help if Dad couldn't." Perfect!

Also this week we've explored how diverse & unique families are. The clay table made for great whanau sculpting & discussions - who are the people that make up our whanau... pets - absolutely - pets are part of our whanau too!!Armistice Day
We took an 'ecolense' on Armistice Day and paid tribute for our brave soldiers by planting our poppy seeds. We look forward to hearing from Ivy who will be attending Armistice Day with her Nan, Joan (Sunday 11am - Anzac Oval).Taiao Tuhura - Forest Kindy

On Wednesday we decided it was time to plant our Kowhai trees that we had received from Paper 4 Trees for our recycling efforts. "Why are we planting Kowhai trees!?" "To entice Tui to 'Our Place!" We now wonder what else we can do to help our Kowhai trees to grow tall & strong..stay tuned for next weeks blog!Thanks 'Explorers Group' for planting our 'magic' flower seeds!
Naililili Cathedral School 'Care Package'
Teresa Jarvis (St Thomas's School Principal) and ex-kindy kids - Angus McRae & Libby Jespersen - popped in during the week to find out more about our 'Give-a-little' to Rupeni's Uncle's school in Suva Fiji. A massive thank you to the Moss whanau who have sorted through LOADS of educational puzzles and donated them on Friday. We need your help to fill the 'Care Package' barrel (by the fish tank) with more pens, pencils, books & educational posters etc!End of an Era!
On Friday we wished Limehills Students; Caitlin & Cameron a happy birthday along with a fond farewell to all the SVA (Student Volunteer Army) from Limehills School. We've had the pleasure of having Annalise, Brook, Caitlin & Cameron join us each Friday morning as part of the Limehills School Citizenship. What better way to say thanks, than to share - CAKE! Sophie, Jack K & Evie presented the cake, on everyone's behalf. All the best guys as you head off to local High Schools & Colleges - do us proud!
