Term 4 Week 8

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...
Thank you to Bernice for joining us again this week for Christmas Crafts. In the spirit of giving, nga tamariki decorated cookies in preparation for our End of the Year Family Night.

Thank you to Melissa for collecting pine cones for our Natural Xmas Decorations...there has been a hive of activity in Santa's Workshop / The Project Room as we piece together these beautiful masterpieces. Outside we had clay Christmas crafts with Rachel on Monday..wow, what creative children we have.

Thank you to our fabulous Parent Group for hosting a amazing night on Tuesday for our families to celebrate a successful 2018 together. The sizzling sausages, soothing carol singing, talented musicians and that fabulous Winton Kindy spirit made for a wonderful evening.

The Explorers Group this week have been buzzing with the excitement of Christmas and giving. Many creations made inside with pens, paper, scissors, sticky tape and glue - packed up and ready to gift to our friends and whanau!! Wow what kind tamariki we have at Winton Kindy!!!

Naturalistic Angles were a big hit!! Another great way to show love respect for our environment by creating Xmas decorations using fabrics, and natural materials. Aren't they fabulous!!

And what better way to finish off the week with a traditional Christmas film - "The Snowman" By Raymond Briggs

Just a side note - Kindy finishes on Thursday 20th December and will open in the new year on Monday 21st January 2019.

Have a great weekend,
Your Winton Kindy Team
