Term 4 Week 9

It is indeed that time of the year for eco-giving ...  we shared a Care Package to both the Frew families after their harrowing Otapiri Gorge flooding episode recently.  The Otapiri Gorge was so badly affected by the deluge of rain recently the access to their properties was inaccessible.  Tks to everyone for your kind donations. We hope this package helps in some small way!

Eco-Xmas decorations ...

We have been busy ... tks to everyone who helped make our eco-decorations. The joy of giving!!!  We have created some very naturalistic eco-decorations - not to make for ourselves - but to make for others!!!  A very BIG concept for our tamariki to uphold!

  They will be hand delivered to everyone (to hang on their tree) by a very special visitor on Wed/Thur.

Taiao Tuhura

Our final Taiao Tuhura for the year.  A farewell to Marley Field, Archie Bridson & Charlee Frew.  All leaders this week, sharing their mahi.  And WHAT a surprise awaited everyone @ the Dragons Nest.  The Dragon has captured ALL of the children's imagination throughout the year - none more so than leaving some Xmas treats for everyone!!!

Eco-Sustainability

Our veggie gardens are harvesting some mouth watering produce at the moment - this week our Explorer group have harvested & eaten lettuce, celery & today peas!   

Xmas delight ...

Last week for 2018 is next week ... we have a special visitor on Wed/Thus - come along & join us.  Check our Facebook post for details.  Dress in some Xmas gear & bring along some Xmas cheer to share (Morning Tea). Our last day is Thur 20 Dec 2018 & we begin Term 1 2019 - 21 Jan 2019.
