CONGRATULATIONS TO US!! RUNNERS UP FOR SCULPTURE @ THIS YEAR'S POLITEST ART AWARDS....Wow, what an achievement! A big thanks to the many families who joined us on Friday night at the Polyfest Art Awards at the Southland Museum and Art Gallery. Do take this opportunity to pop into the Museum to check out our Waka on display. The Finalists will be on view for the public until the 8th of September.
POLYFEST PERFORMANCE REHEARSALS ARE UNDERWAY... A big thanks to the many lovely ladies who took home piupiu/skirts to be cut and pulled - they look amazing!! We are continuing to practice and refine our performance...we can't wait to share this with everyone!

Using the fallen bark for our writing and drawing this week, as we lazed beside the stream in the warmth of the sunshine. Collecting Kowhai seeds to being back to Kindy...More fishing rod making...Listening for our Piwaiwaka/fantail to join us...
