We welcomed Toby Langford & Jackson Scobie to our Thur/Fri group this week ...

And we farewelled Jacob Beer ... Jacob is heading to Drummond Kindy which is just down the road from his house!

All our preparations over the last term an a half came to fruition on Tue 30 Aug as we proudly took to the stage at ILT Stadium Southland to perform our 2016 Murihiku Polyfest kapa haka routine.  Our three waiata were: Kindergartens South waiata, Titro Mai & Kapo Kapo - along with nga poi, masks & our twinkling willow ball.

We headed to the Southland museum first ... to have some morning tea in the auditorium & to check out our Prize Winning waka!

Great ... our waka is still proudly on display!

And then we were off ... to Stadium Southland! My what a busy time that was!  Getting 20+ excited Kindy kids into their kakahu!!!

And then it was  OUR time ... to perform on stage.  Everyone was sooooo PROUD!!!

Wow ... it will take a while to beat this week - busy, anxious, exciting but most especially so so so PROUD!!!  In Ava Millar's own words ...  'WE ROCK'!!!!!
